Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 13-week contract at a highly regarded healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sterile processing, particularly with endoscope reprocessing and decontamination procedures. Position Requirements: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in sterile processing Certification Required: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA BLS certification (AHA) Experience with endoscope reprocessing , sterile instrumentation processing, and decontamination Epic charting experience required Responsibilities: Cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment Endoscope reprocessing Handling of biological and chemical indicators Proper organization, labeling, and sterilization wrapping procedures Use of washers, sterilizers, and ultrasonic cleaners Collaboration with clinical teams to ensure smooth surgical workflows Work Environment: Critical Access Hospital Scrub color: Any (provided for specific departments) No weekends or on-call required Modern facility with interdisciplinary support Join a professional, supportive team in a beautiful coastal community while advancing your sterile processing skills.
