Seaside, OR Location: Seaside, OR Job Details: Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8-hour
shifts) Openings: 1 On Call: Not required Weekends: Not required
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required Job Description: We are seeking a
certified Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) for a short-term 13-week
assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of
sterile processing experience with a strong background in endoscope
reprocessing and general decontamination. This critical access
hospital utilizes the Epic EMR system and offers a collaborative
team environment. You will be responsible for cleaning and
sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment campus-wide,
including endoscopy scopes, and ensuring aseptic techniques and
compliance with hospital protocols. Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and
equipment Handle endoscope reprocessing (bronchoscopes,
colonoscopes, EGDs, etc.) Assemble surgical trays and cases
according to preference cards Utilize aseptic technique and proper
sterilization procedures Perform quality control monitoring
(biological, chemical indicators) Maintain proper labeling and
documentation in Epic system Follow hospital policies and safety
guidelines
