Transfer, Inc. is looking for a dynamic manufacturing Inventory
Quality Control Coordinator to support the company's mission to
provide reliable, innovative plate heat exchanger products,
solutions and services that surpass expectations of food
manufacturers. Brief Company Description AGC Heat Transfer, Inc.,
AB, is the leading OEM of sanitary plate heat exchangers in North
America, manufacturing plate heat exchangers specifically designed
for sanitary applications. AGC offers complete heat exchangers,
services as well as upgrades to plate packs, gaskets and spares
that fit multiple brands. In addition, AGC offers Field Leak
Testing and inspections of plate heat exchangers that meet the 3-A
sanitary standard. AGC Heat Transfer consists of four
manufacturing/service facilities (Bristow, VA, Fairview, OR
,Pleasant Prairie, WI & Fort Worth, TX) with about 125 employees
(78 OR / 20 VA / 28 other locations). Currently, most of the sales
are in the US & Canada. AGC Heat Transfer has a strong engineering
culture with a heavy emphasis on customer service and
technical/consultative sales. Job Description The Inventory Quality
Control Coordinator position is responsible for performing detailed
inspections on highly engineered products to ensure they meet
internal specifications and customer requirements based in our
Fairview, Oregon manufacturing plant. This role involves
interpreting technical drawings, using precision measuring
instruments, and communicating nonconforming materials or
components to the quality and engineering team. Position
Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of incoming,
in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with
internal specifications and customer requirements. • Interpret
technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify
product accuracy and confirm dimensional, material, and functional
requirements. • Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers,
micrometers, height gauges, hardness testers) to inspect and
validate product quality. • Identify, document, and report
nonconforming materials or components in accordance with company
quality procedures. • Communicate quality issues to the quality
team, engineering, and production staff to determine corrective
actions or disposition of materials. • Support root cause
investigations for quality-related issues and assists in developing
corrective and preventive actions. • Verify that products meet
customer-specific requirements, especially for engineered-to-order
components. • Participate in continuous improvement activities
aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving
inspection processes. • Ensure adherence to AGC quality standards,
regulatory expectations, and established manufacturing procedures.

driving to positive results. Skills & Qualifications • 2 years of
experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or a
related technical field. • High school diploma or GED required;
additional technical training or certifications in quality
inspection, manufacturing technology, or metrology are preferred. •
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings,
blueprints, and technical specifications. • Proficiency with
precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers,
height gauges, and other dimensional inspection tools. • Experience
working with nonconformance reporting, quality documentation, or
ERP/MRP systems (Macola a plus). • High attention to detail with
strong analytical and documentation skills. • Effective verbal and
written communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating
with quality, engineering, and production teams. • Basic
understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or similar
manufacturing quality systems (preferred). • Ability to work
independently and manage multiple inspection tasks in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment. • Familiarity with manufacturing
processes and materials used in engineered industrial products
(preferred). • Proficiency with basic computer software (Office
365), including email, digital documentation, and inspection
recordkeeping. • Forklift certification or willingness to become
certified. • Basic familiarity with lean principles and 5S is a
plus. • Must be able to speak, write & read English. Physical
Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of
time while performing inspections throughout production and
warehouse areas. • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and
reaching to inspect materials stored on racks, pallets, and
workstations. • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials
and components up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis; occasionally up to
50 lbs. • Regular use of hands and fingers for handling small
components, operating precision measurement tools, and documenting
inspection results. • Ability to visually inspect components with a
high level of detail, including reading fine print, measuring
marks, and technical drawings. • Ability to maintain steady
hand-eye coordination when using instruments such as calipers,
micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools. • Capability to
sit at a workstation for periods of time while entering inspection
data or reviewing documentation. Work Environment • Work performed
primarily in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with
exposure to moving equipment, machinery, temperature fluctuations,
and moderate noise levels. • Occasional work in areas with oils,
coolants, or manufacturing residues, consistent with standard
industrial environments. • Must follow all AGC safety procedures,
including wearing required PPE (such as safety glasses, gloves, and
steel-toe shoes). Job Type Full Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly) Wage $26
