YOUR ROLE The Amazon Brand Manager is a core role at Pitted Labs. This position is responsible for the growth and success of their clients, developing strong relationships with customers, answering client queries, and identifying new business opportunities with new and existing customers. The Amazon Brand Manager is a key contributor to the success of sales, advertising, client relationships, and market insight. A DAY IN THE LIFE At Pitted Labs, each day brings new and exciting opportunities to support our clients. The Amazon Brand Manager is responsible for the success and growth of their book of clients, including overseeing and managing their Seller/Vendor Central accounts through advertising performance, inventory levels, buybox performance, buyer messages, and everything in between. Care is at the core of everything we do, so Amazon Brand Managers are responsible for maintaining frequent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction with Pitted Labs services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, building trusted relationships and owning overall account health Lead client communications and meetings, providing clear updates, context, and guidance aligned with client goals Translate client needs and objectives into clear internal priorities, delegating tasks and coordinating across team members Manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple workstreams to ensure projects move forward smoothly Support strategic problem-solving by helping identify challenges, frame opportunities, and collaborate on practical recommendations Maintain visibility into account performance and progress, ensuring alignment between clients and internal teams Prepare and deliver regular account updates and performance summaries in a clear, concise, and client-friendly format Proactively identify risks, gaps, or blockers and help resolve them before they impact outcomes Account set-up, new listing creation, inventory management/forecasting Collaboration with Advertising Managers to reach client objectives Design/create, communicate, and execute business strategies and game plan Market research of customer products, competitors, etc. Client communication via calls, emails, text messages, social channels, and occasionally in person JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related program (preferred) Able to learn through self-teaching; an Amazon Brand Manager needs to learn and adapt as changes come Be able to take obscure tasks/projects and get desired results with little direction Knowledge of corporate/brand strategy Attention to detail and extremely organized Able to manage multiple projects/accounts and priorities and meet deadlines on time Excellent verbal and written communication skills Keen eye for branding Having a service-first and servant-leadership mentality Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business High integrity, high energy, and a positive attitude Enthusiasm for Pitted Labs' mission Adheres to strict confidential guidelines Continuous improvement through education and training Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Experience successfully managing the Amazon channel for a company or multiple brands (or other e-commerce experience) Amazon advertising experience Proven ability to manage client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, delegate tasks, and manage multiple priorities with a high on-time completion rate Excellent written, verbal, and video communication skills, with confidence working directly with clients Experience in agency, consulting, or service-based environments strongly preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities Proficiency with project management tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting workflows Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred Ability to work a hybrid work schedule in person in Portland, OR WHY WORK AT PITTED LABS?
