The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for sales to enterprise level commercial customers, including large business customers of both internet & telephone services. This includes proactively identifying new customer sales opportunities, defining customer needs, preparing proposals, and closing deals. /n A Day in the Life of the Enterprise Account Executive: /n /n - Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling and knocking on doors, proactive needs assessment, applications development, proposal presentation, order negotiation and post-sales service requirements /n - Negotiate to secure contracts with telecommunications decision makers in order to achieve revenue growth and retention. /n - Manage installation projects with various teams to ensure on-time delivery, successful turn-up and customer satisfaction /n - Respond to requests from customers for information, support, assistance, joint proposals, pricing, etc. /n - Respond to demand sales requests /n - Supports others within the sales/service team to achieve customer satisfaction /n /n What You Bring to the Table: /n /n - Demonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to end-user customers, including strategic and large business customers and government accounts using relationship management and system sales concepts /n - Ability to sell to C level executives within an organization /n - Experience in systems selling, consultative sales techniques, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, and service improvement planning. /n - Technical skills related to network and transmission design and local access services /n - Product knowledge of both switched and dedicated services, as well as associated end-user and carrier applications /n - Operational understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes /n - Working knowledge of general marketing principle tools and processes /n - Skills necessary for decision making and maintaining customer retention /n - Strong interpersonal skills /n - Minimum 5 years’ experience selling B2B in technology environment /n - Exceptional presentation, negotiation and closing skills /n - Seasoned experience building a base of business /n - Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record /n /n Education: /n /n - High school diploma or equivalent /n /n /n We're Proud to Offer a Comprehensive Benefits Package Including: /n /n - 401k retirement plan, with employer match /n - Insurance options including: medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance /n - Paid Time Off/Vacation: Starting at 80 hours per year, and increases based on tenure with the organization /n - Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year /n - Paid Holidays: 7 days per year /n - Paid Sick Leave: Astound allows a number of paid sick hours per calendar year and varies based on state and/or local laws /n - Tuition reimbursement program /n - Employee discount program /n /n *Benefits listed above are for regular full-time positions /n The base salary range in Oregon for this position is $75,000, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Oregon and may not be applicable to other locations. /n Commissions at plan: On an annual basis, targeted commission is thirty-two thousand, four hundred dollars.
