fostered within a supportive team environment. Job Description We
are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead a
new market expansion in the home improvement industry, specifically
focusing on windows and doors. This pivotal role involves building
and leading a new sales team from the ground up, driving their
performance, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious sales
targets in this developing market. The ideal candidate will be
passionate about fostering talent, analyzing sales data, and
implementing strategies that contribute directly to the company's
growth. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a
significant impact by establishing a strong sales presence in a new
region. You will be instrumental in shaping the team's success,
providing hands-on training and mentorship, and collaborating
closely with senior leadership, including the President and General
Manager, to align team efforts with broader company objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities •Build and manage a new sales team,
providing ongoing training and support. •Monitor and manage the
performance of sales representatives to meet specific sales goals.
•Ensure the team achieves a minimum slugging percentage of $3200
per lead. •Oversee the hiring process, including resume review and
conducting interviews. •Review sales performance reports such as
NGB, closing percentage, and demo percentage. •Analyze sales trends
and provide constructive feedback to sales representatives for
improvement. •Provide ongoing training to the sales team, including
shadowing and retraining underperforming representatives. •Work
individually with sales representatives to identify and address
areas for improvement. •Rehash leads that were not closed by other
representatives. •Manage cancellations by diligently following the
company's established cancellation procedures. •Collaborate closely
with the President, General Manager, and other sales leaders.
Required Experience/Skills •Proven experience in sales management
within the home improvement industry (e.g., windows, doors,
remodeling) or a closely related field. •Strong leadership and
team-building skills with a demonstrated track record of driving
sales performance. •Ability to mentor and manage sales
representatives effectively, ensuring they meet established goals
and continuously improve. •Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, essential for motivating and leading a team
to success. •Experience with performance analysis and sales
reporting. •Possession of an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong
drive for success and growth. •Ability to work flexible hours to
meet sales targets and provide comprehensive team support. Pay &
Benefits Summary •Minimum of 40 hours per week. •10 paid vacation
days per year. •5 PTO sick days per year. •Flexible sick and
