Job Description:
The Inside Sales Representative is part of a dynamic team that
helps Syncta enter a new phase of growth. The Inside Sales
Representative will be an individual contributor responsible for
selling Syncta, a backflow testing software solution by WATTS.
This position will be a part of a compact and nimble sales and
marketing team which reports directly to the sales manager. The
incumbent will ideally be based out of Beaverton, OR and work a
territory across the Western to Mid-Western US with 10%
travel.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Generates new sales leads through outbound efforts and other
methods
- Learn about a prospective client's organization, culture and
industry
- Follows up promptly and qualifies all new sales leads.
- Documents all sales activity in company Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) application
- Prepare monthly sales pipeline forecasts
- Maintain up to date info on the opportunity funnel, and work
with sales and management to focus on key opportunities for the
business
- Create/maintain appropriate and effective KPIsEDUCATION:
- Minimum Associates Degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years inside sales or account management
experienceQUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess strong computer software skills (familiarity with
social media, email, CRM, spreadsheets, and document programs)
- Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer
issues/needs into solutions
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and close multiple sales
leads.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish mutually
beneficial commitments and expectations with customers, internally
and externally
- Strong interpersonal skills and written and verbal
communication skills
- Knowledgeable about the software sales cycle
- Experience in the backflow, water or plumbing industry is a
plusWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is
frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is
occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger,
handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up
to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
