Background: The Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDAT) Team provides the data in our Data Warehouses. We are focused on the successful adoption of Business Intelligence tools throughout the county. The officially supported BI tools are: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Tableau. We are exploring Power BI. This BI Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be assigned production support and new projects for our Health Department (HD). Scope of Work: This BI BSA is responsible for production support and working with our Health Department (HD) to implement small, medium and large scale BI projects. This BI BSA will provide a range of analytical, consultative, and coordination services. This BI BSA serves as a key liaison between business partners and Information Technology staff. This BI BSA is expected to communicate our HD staff to understand their business needs from a strategic perspective and apply a wide range of technologies to address them. This BI BSA will manage customer requests for IT services, provide business process analysis, consultation or redesign, and manage assigned projects. This BI BSA will write business cases, requirements documents, develop total cost of ownership estimates, plan and conduct testing, and manage a portfolio for the Health Department (HD) Required Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent practical and relevant experience. Seven (7) years of IT BSA experience. This position must pass a criminal history records check. The skills: Advanced experience with Azure and Azure DevOps Advanced experience doing BSA work for the Health industry Advanced experience with project coordination and project management Advanced experience in data warehousing design, BI concepts and best practices Advanced experience working with developers to build ETLs for loading data for reporting The work: Determine strategies for data integrity validation processes Assess requirements for completeness and accuracy and determine if requirements are actionable for the ETL team Conduct impact assessment and determine the size of effort based on requirements Identify necessary changes to current business and data integration processes Communicate risks and ensure understanding of these risks Develop project plans and schedules with appropriate tasks, resources, milestones, and timelines to implement the IT solution Monitor projects and communicate status to customers, IT Management, and others on a regular basis. Lead custom development teams using Agile framework as needed Manage issue tracking and resolution for assigned projects Direct project resources such as customers, peers, and other team members on project tasks Monitor and execute implementation activities Monitor and execute maintenance releases and/or upgrades to existing IT solutions Experience that provides a plus: Tableau experience SSRS experience Power BI experience Minimum Number of Years Experience: 7 Please send me the resume to and reach me on X 210
