Job Description Description: Income Property Management is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for the fast-paced, 184-unit apartment community of Center Plaza Apartments in Beaverton, OR. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing basic maintenance duties including repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting at Center Plaza. The Maintenance Technician will be work alongside two other Maintenance Technicians. Workdays: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM (30-minute lunch) Pay: $23.00-$26.00/hr (DOE) Additional Compensation: Monthly $50.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement for travel required in the position. A Skills Assessment test will be conducted prior to extending an offer.*Requirements: Requirements for the Maintenance Technician :Basic knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and installation and repair of flooring (required).Two (2) years' experience in a maintenance technician, preferably in property management for commercial or multi-family properties.A valid driver's license, state minimum insurance, and reliable transportation.Have a basic set of hand and electric toolsStrong communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently but also be a productive member of a team.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
