Summary

Assure customer satisfaction is achieved through the on-time delivery of defect free product that meets all requirements and specifications by tracking, prioritizing and moving product and materials through production processes

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Meet with Program Management, Scheduling and Planning teams daily to update global production priorities.
Update Shop Floor Control (SFC) to reflect changes to global priorities.
Work with SFC to document progression of orders and manage priorities within the manufacturing cells.
Work with Engineers, Technicians and other SME's to craft solutions and remove barriers to continue building and moving boards and assemblies.
Negotiate with coordinators and managers to prioritize global requirements within their manufacturing cells.
Communicate potential delays and schedule misses immediately to initiate planning and communication with critical parties
Maintain excellent communications using e-mail, v-net or other written systems for documentation purposes.
Use Shop Floor Control, SMARTer, Fourth Shift and Agile as needed to accomplish critical product expedites.
Use Fourth Shift System to check on and follow-up on part shortages, due dates and order status.
Physically track and expedite manufacturing builds from one location to another as needed to meet customer needs.
Regularly communicates with: Program Management, Procurement, Master Schedulers, Customer Product Specialist, Manufacturing Managers, Leads, Coordinators, Engineers, Test Personnel, Shipping, Receiving, Stockroom and others.

Education And/Or Experience
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent (Required)
Technical or Engineering Certification or Degree (Preferred)

Requirements

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Required
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products, databases and MRP systems.
Understands MRP principals.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a variety of internal customers.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Able to work in self-directed manner with minimal supervision.
Highly organized and able to stay focused and prioritize rapidly.
Demonstrated ability to understand the complexity of multi-level board manufacturing.
Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and work overtime when needed
Highly adaptable and able to learn quickly
Provide excellent customer service to internal customers and treat everyone at Vanguard, its vendors and customers with dignity, respect and professionalism at all times.
Demonstrated ability to communicate in person, over the phone, in emails, internet or in writing in a positive and professional manner at all times
