_*Legal Specialist (Paralegal) - HYBRID - Portland, OR*_Our client, a leading energy supplier and community-focused utility based in *Portland, Oregon*, is seeking a *Legal Specialist (Paralegal)* to join its Corporate Legal or Business Integrity team on a temporary basis. This hybrid role (3+ days onsite) is ideal for a detail-oriented corporate paralegal with strong organizational skills and a passion for legal operations. The Legal Specialist will support attorneys on corporate and litigation matters, focusing on document management, regulatory compliance, and legal process coordination. DOE.*Key Responsibilities for Legal Specialist (Paralegal):** Provide litigation support, including coordination with outside counsel, document review, and case tracking.* Assist with discovery processes by collecting, organizing, and producing documents in response to subpoenas and requests.* Manage corporate legal filings such as business licenses, organizational documents, and foreign qualifications.* Support due diligence efforts and assist in preparing regulatory filings.* Draft, review, and proofread legal correspondence and internal communications.* Maintain and organize legal documentation using Microsoft Office and SharePoint tools.* Collaborate effectively across legal, compliance, and business departments.* Stay up to date with new legal subject matter areas as needed.*Requirements/Qualifications for Legal Specialist (Paralegal):** 3-7 years of *hands-on corporate paralegal* experience is required.* Experience in corporate law, securities, or finance-related legal support is highly preferred.* Previous experience working with a *law firm* or *in-house legal team*.* Bachelor's degree or completion of an *accredited paralegal program* is preferred.* Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-with an eye for detail.* Proficiency in *Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint*.* Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.\*\*We are unable to accommodate corp. to corp. candidates\*\**About Motus Recruiting and Staffing, Inc: *_Founded in 2006, Motus is an award-winning recruiting and staffing firm in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in professional services and technology solutions.
