We re looking for a Global Consumer Planner, Global Men s
Footwear
In this role, you will utilize your subject matter expertise across
various global functional areas in Product, Merchandising, and
Planning to focus on the Consumer first as we plan for future our
client Product and Consumer needs. You will own industry standard
planning tools, including Ladder Plans (Open to Buy), Line Plan
Architecture, and Assortment plans. This person will triangulate
Retail Metric driven insights with Product and Merch teams to
enable a more productive line plan creation. You will assess future
risk and opportunity in the marketplace and communicate that risk
and opportunity to your cross functional partners to help enable
them make better informed decisions. You will collaborate across
geographies to understand the individual geography marketplaces and
utilize those insights to help shape your future demand. You will
navigate our Matrix of internal partners and collaboratively make
fact-based decisions advised by collective expertise, strategic
business priorities, stakeholder input, and most importantly data
driven metrics.
The candidate needs to be able to:

3.Identify future marketplace risk and problem solve against how to
move forward to ease that risk
4.Recommend to senior leadership how the enterprise needs to move
forward based on future forecasting insights and scenario planning
options

marketplace and industry trends and business strategy
6.Drive alignment and clarity across cross functional partners
7.Constantly evolve ideas and solutions to meet and accelerate new
business needs
8.A deep curiosity on asking the why around consumer and
marketplace behavior
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you ll be working with Global Gender,
Product/Merchanding, Finance, Strategy, and Long Range Planning
teams along with Geo Consumer Planning teams while doing the
following:
1.Recommending to cross functional teams assortment depth and
flow
2.Recommending slot investments to support the Line Architecture to
align with Consumer Demand
3.Forecast and update monthly ladder plans 2 years out and make
recommendations on product forecast adjustments that need to take
place to align with marketplace health measures
4.Present to cross functional partners and senior leadership on the
how and why forecasts changed and what that means for future
consumer product forecasts

Duties:
The nature of the work is focused on the effective and efficient
distribution of products and services to customers. Utilize
advanced forecasting and analysis techniques to anticipate consumer
demand and market trends. Develop detailed product demand pull
plans for assigned category that result in high forecast accuracy,
thereby contributing to our client and customer profitability.
Provide technical expertise and mentoring within demand pull
planning function. Develops, integrates and provides short-term
accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which
include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion
information, marketing plans and new distribution/product
deletions. Use statistical analysis and data-driven decision making
tools for the validation of initial seasonal product by category.
Support with documentation, timely communication and technical
consulting. Analyzes internal demand stream information, and
categorizes according to demand patterns. Use expertise to employ
statistical techniques, business targets, causal factors, external
market and sell-through analysis, that result in highly accurate
forecasts. Achieve a high degree of professional expertise in
leading edge, sophisticated decision making tools and advance
forecasting within our client from a qualitative to a more
quantitative / statistical process.
Skills:
Experience in a forecasting or buying capacity. Typical Office:
