Job Description:

largest sportswear company in Oregon at their world headquarters in
Beaverton for a 2-3 week research project.Research specialists are
needed to support the Workplace Utilization Studies: The overall
job duty is to conduct and record workplace observations using a
web-based software platform called Vantage Space on an iPad. Day to
day: --- Participate in Utilization Study Observer training +
pre-building walks to familiarize themselves with the building
layout, test & practice with iPad and resolve any questions they
may have. (approx. 3-4 hours)--- Responsible for Pick Up/Drop Off
and charging of iPad each day of study observations.--- Complete 6,
1 hour observation tours each day for assigned buildings and
observation points. Each tour must be completed within the
60-minute time frame.--- Document presence, activities and tools

to select from)--- Responsible for immediately notifying
Utilization Study PM of any issues during observations.--- Properly
submit and end each tour once all observation points have been
documented. ---80-90 % of the day will be walking around, but there
will be opportunity to sit between each tour depending on how
quickly they finish. The quantity of observation points allocated
to each observer should provide them at a minimum with a 5-10
minute break between tours. We found during our last round of
studies that after the first couple of days people become familiar
with the building and spaces and they go more quickly and sometimes
they get 20-30 minutes between studies to sit. It's important for
them to walk the building(s) before we start the studies so they
understand the floor plan and create an efficient touring strategy.

are identified clearly on a floor plan within the iPad application.

workspace has evidence that people are working there (workstation
powered on, coat on chair, etc) 3. Unoccupied: The workspace is
usable/assigned but nobody is present/using it. (Intended to be
occupied but nobody is present) 4. Unusable: The workspace has no
furniture or not fit to be occupiedUnobservable: The workspace is
completely inaccessible and its status is unknown. The observer
will also document in the program application: 1. How many people
are using the space 2. What activities are happening such as are
they on a Zoom call, are they collaborating, are they eating, are
they focusing and doing heads down work etc. 3. Which tools are
being used. Anything that they need to document comes from a short
