Busy Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental practice is looking for a motivated, outgoing, and friendly Patient Coordinator to join our team! Must be able to work in a fast-paced office and always maintain a great attitude and superior customer service. This is a full-time position - Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5 pm. Relevant experience required.Being the best part of our patients' dayAnswering phones with a smile. You are the voice of the practice and an extension of the atmosphere of our office.Checking patients in and scheduling their next appointmentPayment collectionsInsurance VerificationAccurately entering patient information in to our practice management systemDuties will be increased with more experienceMust work weekly and able to cover on calls as needed.Must be reliable, consistent, self- motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Paying attention to detail is a must.RequirementsSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: No experience is required but the ideal candidate will have some relevant experience, including but not limited to the following:Superior customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient careAbility to operate multiple computer programs effectively and efficientlyDetail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environmentExceptional communication skillsSuperior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely mannerDynamic interpersonal skills and the desire and ability to learn new skills and work well with a teamMinimum of 1 yr experience medical front desk (dental experience preferred)Minimum of 1 yr experience verifying medical/dental insurancesBilingual English/SpanishPay rate is based on experience.
