Job Description:
Central City Concern is an innovative nonprofit agency providing
comprehensive services to single adults and families in the
Portland metro area who are impacted by homelessness, poverty and
addictions. We hire people that are skilled and passionate to meet
our mission through outcome-based strategies which support personal
and community transformation.
CCC's Central City Concern is seeking an On-Call Alcohol & Drug
Counselors!
SCHEDULE: On Call position. Desired Schedule 8:00am-4:30pm.
*On Call employees must work at least once in every 6 month period
to remain active on payroll.
The CCCRC is part of an innovative program that offers integrated
housing, health care, and employment services with the long term
goal of eliminating homelessness. We seek to change how these
services are delivered to all people, especially vulnerable
populations.
Successful Candidate: An Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) who has
a strong understanding and demonstrated use of the ASAM assessment
and documentation. Counselors who have the ability to conduct
individual and group counseling. A strong understanding of the
social determinants of health and de-escalation skills. Expereince
working with adult populations expereincing homelessness and
substance use disorder (SUDs).
