WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate(s) will work on the cyber security strategy
team that engages core business functions, technology teams, etc.
to identify required future state security and privacy requirements
and capabilities for the Nike enterprise platform. From the
cybersecurity strategy perspective, our team drives the
organization's priorities, constraints, risk tolerances, and
assumptions established and used to support operational risk
decisions as prescribed in the NIST CSF ID.RM 1-3; PR.DS-1.
Specifically, our team approaches risk in a calculated manner to
deliver and support a strategic cyber secure process. Our team
seeks qualified individuals that will be instrumental in shaping
the cyber security strategic roadmap for the Nike, Inc. Corporate
Information Security (CIS) organization. Primary support activities
involve the following contributions as a member of the cyber
security strategy team: - Collaborating with CIS teams to conduct
strategic cyber analysis tailored to comprehend, protect and
monitor the Nike threat, technology and regulatory landscapes, and
strategically mitigate risk function areas within the organization.
- Developing cybersecurity strategy artifacts to be used by the CIS
organization for cyber focused pivotal initiatives.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
If this is you, you'll be working with other strategists and
leaders performing various enterprise security initiatives. Core
responsibilities are to aid the cyber security strategy team in the
following activities: - Development and administration of the CIS
top-line strategy focusing on supporting and architecting the
cybersecurity and privacy vision and roadmap for the Nike, Inc.
enclave and its corresponding strategies. - Conduct strategic cyber
analyses as needed to strategically derive key elements to
developing cybersecurity strategy components and strategy inputs
under the direction of the strategy lead. - Provide strategic
facilitation with all other strategy development activities, CIS
Information Risk Management (IRM), Office of Cybersecurity (OOC),
etc. requested tasks activities and other duties as assigned. -
Specific aid to the strategy team lead includes, but is not limited
to the following: - Tactical-level CIS component area leaders and
relevant personnel engagement to develop and monitor security
architecture viewpoints for all assigned strategies within the
enterprise platform transformation initiatives. - Collaborations
among security program management and tactical deployment teams to
ensure alignment with the CIS strategy and vision. - Aid in
developing and provide key inputs to status reporting work for the
OOC, MT and LT leadership.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role works directly in support of the Expert Strategist roles
on the team. The strategy team works with the Director of the
Information Risk Management (IRM) team, and works closely with
members of the IRM and CIS teams, which can include other
strategists, program managers, and business operations experts.

- Nike's Chief Information Security Officer - Senior and mid-level
Leadership Team for Corporate Information Security (CIS) team -
Domain experts across CIS - Industry analysts and experts - Global
Technology Strategy, Finance, Portfolio, and Communications
teams
WHAT YOU BRING
The ideal candidate(s) need to be able to conduct qualitative
(observational) analysis that the team uses to capture required
strategic elements essential to perform this work. The following
skills and behavioral characteristics are highly favored but are
not disqualifiers if not satisfied. Each candidate will need to be
considered on a case-by-case basis: - Deep technical knowledge and
confidence in communicating with both highly technical audiences
and non-technical audiences. - Extremely strong written and verbal
communication skills and an ability to communicate across all areas
and levels of the business and to comprehend complex business
initiatives. - Demonstrable ability to identify and develop clear
and comprehensible security capabilities and strategic views from
high-level business objectives and technology constraints. -
Working and applicable knowledge of information security
principles, protocols frameworks and standard processes from vast
technical arenas (NIST CSF, RMF, DoDAF, SABSA, Zachman's, etc.) -
Ability to adjust communication style and approach, from strategic
leadership to highly technical audiences is desired. - Ability to
work among a diverse group of individuals with different goals,
objectives, etc. to engage/facilitate productive discussions
driving towards results. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving
skills; demonstrable experience in identifying solutions for
complex problems. - - Motivated self-starter that can take
ownership of information security challenges and driving them to
resolution. - Demonstrated depth in analytical and problem-solving
skills - Demonstrate competency in relevant strategic or
architectural security domains in designing security solutions for
a mix of technology areas, with a focus on next-generation cyber
security, resilient operating environment optimization,
decentralized and distributed cyber security architectures,
enterprise security architecture development, etc. - - Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science or Business Information Management or
related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in information security
architecture, enterprise security architecture and / or strategy. -
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, GSEC, etc. are
strongly preferred but equivalent knowledge will be considered.
*Remote Work Option - open to remote work, except cannot work in
South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. These candidates will be
required to relocate. The annual base salary for this position
ranges from $109,500.00 to $217,000.00. Actual salary will vary
based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills, and
