The IT Specialist's primary role is to serve as a point of contact for employee IT issues. This includes owning the investigation, testing, and resolution of any issues, as well as assistance in the deployment and maintenance of IT systems and software. Maintain velocity toward resolving all incidents and requests.* Contribute to and maintain IT knowledgebase and end-user training documents.*Skills and Qualifications: *As an IT Specialist, the ideal candidate will need excellent communication and customer service skills combined with the required qualifications below:* Proficient installing, patching, and maintaining software applications.* Basic knowledge of networking theory and practices.* Working knowledge of virtualization, Hyper-V or equivalent* Possess adequate communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external team members.* Ability to effectively present product and/or other information to staff as needed.* Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills.* Proficiency in programs such as MS Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.* Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively handle stressful situations.* Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.* Must be solution-focused, personable, forward-thinking and extremely organized.* Ability to present self in a professional manner and positively represent the company image.* Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required by the job.* Lead IT asset management lifecycle, including procurement, inventory, deployment, and refresh of is workstation, peripherals, and network infrastructure*Education and Experience** Associate's degree in an IT related field or equivalent professional experience.* Experience with company-wide application management strategies.* Experience with network equipment provisioning.* Experience with Active Directory and Office 365* Experience implementing and maintaining security best practices in an organization.* ITIL 4 Foundation certification or ability to achieve within 6 months of employment.*Candidate Instructions: *Interested candidates who meet the skills and qualifications as described above should contact Sarah Nix._RoomReady is an equal employment opportunity employer.
