Customer Service Representative for a Scientific CompanyJob Description:Answer incoming calls, e-mails & faxes from customers and the general publicProvide information to potential customers about testing services and pricingResearch and follow-through on customer inquiries and issuesSet up new customer accounts and enter ordersLog and notate calls and actions in appropriate areas of the databaseDetermine when calls require a transfer for additional follow-through or Lead/Managerial attentionUnderstand and consistently apply policies and proceduresCross-train in other departments to enhance understanding and cooperationReport customer issues and internal challenges to Customer Service Leads and/or ManagerAdhere to assigned work schedule, including shift start / end times and break and lunch periodsFollow ergonomic and safe working practices, including taking short breaks to regroup and relieve stressOther duties as assigned by the Customer Service Leads/Manager, or as are necessary for successful department operationSkills & Qualifications:1-3 years of customer service experiencePositive can do attitudeHigh School Diploma or equivalentDemonstrated aptitude for customer serviceProven ability to work self-directed, independently and as part of a teamStrong interpersonal relations and conflict resolution skillsAttention to detail and efficiencyProblem-solving abilitiesProfessional oral and written communication skillsIntermediate knowledge of computer applications, including MS Office, database software and e-mailAbility to manage time and stress effectivelyFor more information contact Morgan at (503) 403-4313 orAbout Aston Carter: At Aston Carter, were dedicated to expanding career opportunities for the skilled professionals who power our business.
