We accomplish this through innovation, constant process improvement, and through an uncompromising commitment to hiring, retaining and rewarding the best talent available.General Statement of Job:The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator, under guidance of a GSOC Supervisor, is responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a GSOC environment, monitoring multiple streams of security information, including emails, phone calls, alarms, camera systems, access control technologies to various business intelligence sources, open- source media, internet, and in-house tools. The GSOC Operator dispatches incident responses via radio and telephone and is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents which may impact employees, products, property, or brand image. These may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failures and personnel issues.Essential Job Functions:Assisting company employees in all concerns that pertain to safety, security, and property.Compile daily reports and incident reports.Conduct in-depth risk analysis for locations or events.Leverage existing documentation, respond accordingly to incident events impacting personnelEffectively communicate incident response and policies via telephone and radio, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to customers, vendors, and guests.Support assigned regional and physical security teams as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and noncrisis incidents.Completes project work or other administrative tasks related to their function, as assigned by a SupervisorAnswer routine and emergency calls, monitor alarms and video equipment, including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms.Dispatch security specialists, ERT, facilities, police, fire and EMS personnel as required via telephone and/or radio.Maintain various records of communications and events.Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence about events that are occurring both domestically and internationally that may impact the people, assets, or reputation of the client.Communicate and disseminate information to key partners using established communication methods.Escalate complaints and unusual/critical event information without delay to the Operations Supervisor, and appropriate client personnel.Reports missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systemsMonitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV systems.Monitors and responds to all security and safety system alarms.Answers and responds to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms.Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations.Able to work with highly confidential information.Must be able to speak clearly, give direction, and provide guidance to employees and security staff during emergencies.Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:3+ years of work experience in a Security Operations Center or 2 years of work experience in a security Operations Center with a 4 year college degree.Strong Customer Service skills.Able to analyze threats and envision potential or real time impact to client operations with the ability to develop or implement quick responses or mitigation strategies.Display original thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness, generate suggestions for improving work, and develop innovative approaches to complex problems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, at times stressed work environment.Strong team player.Comfortable with high-tech work environment, and constant learning of new tools and innovations.Flexibility to work all shifts, holidays, and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed.Must type at least 40 wpm.What we can offer:Pay Rate: $20/hrGrave ShiftHealth, Dental, Vision, and 401k for eligible employeesPaid Time Off including Sick/Safe TimeA dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growthAdditional Information:SIS is an equal opportunity employerSecurity Agency #0352
