The Global Service Support Division (GSS) headquartered in
Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of service
sales, marketing, spares supply chain management, field operations,
engineering, product training, and technical support. GSS partners
with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to
maintain the high performance and productivity of our products
through a flexible portfolio of services.
The GSS Business Development Team is looking for a strong and
motivated individual contributor to lead GSS service sales and
business development directly to select North American and global
customers. As GSS Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be
the headquarter lead and intermediary for all customer and field
- Work with regional account teams and other GSS organizations to
identify customer needs and develop new business opportunities
across core services, enhancements and Pro Systems.
- Negotiate and manage the renewal and expansion of service
contracts at key customers.
- Drives regional team to meet objectives while ensuring that
sales activity is positively reflected in customer
- Explain, promote, and support commercial strategy to senior
- Document and follow GSS and KLA Finance processes related to
deal creation, approval, quotes, negotiations, deal closure, and
Skills & Qualifications:
- > 5 years semiconductor equipment or other industrial or
capital equipment experience
- Strong business acumen and technical selling skills
- Strong understanding of financial, legal, and marketing
- Advanced Excel/PowerPoint capabilities
- Strong financial/mathematical modeling skills with ability to
deep dive but still maintain high-level vision/strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to
turn non-specific goals into concrete tasks, and influence peers in
other organizations to accomplish objectives.
- Practical working knowledge of industry recognized sales
- Foreign language skills a significant plus
- BA/BS; MBA is a plus
- Domestic/International travel required anywhere from 25 to 50%
as required by business needs (post COVID)
