Job Description:
We are seeking an individual to help our dynamic Engineering
Team this summer in leading an ambitious effort to improve
development processes and product quality within Tektronix located
in Beaverton, Oregon. We strive to have continuously improving as a
way of life in an effort to adapt to changing market needs. The
success of this effort is dependent on hiring individuals capable
of leading this energetic effort, who are able to effective grow
and nurture the program, and are able to facilitate the adoption
and usage of the best industry engineering development
practices. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work
with a group of creative and dedicated Engineers who make test and
measurement equipment that enables all of today's technological
miracles to occur. As an Intern you will be part of a cohort of
Interns, SME's and your Mentor that has produced a series of award
winning, leading edge oscilloscope products. Our instruments offer
the challenge of multi-processor architectures, real time data
acquisition, processing and display systems at different
price/performance points for our customers. Required: + Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering
program at an accredited University. + Minimum of 2 years in an engineering program such as Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical
Engineering. Preferred: + Good technical documentation skills. + Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + A passion for continuous process improvement When you join Tektronix and Fortive, you will work in an
