Location: Beaverton, OR Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried 65k
to 85k a year (pay range based on experience) Language Preference:
Bilingual – English and Spanish Position Summary: This is a dynamic
position that requires both visibility on the production floor and
a strong grasp of corporate-level EHS documentation and compliance.
As our sole on-site EHS Specialist, you’ll spend your time engaging
with team members at all levels to build a proactive safety culture
while also managing the formal side of EHS—regulatory reporting,
documentation, and coordination with corporate and external
agencies. Because many of our employees are Spanish-speaking,
fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
for success in this role. This is a salaried, full-time position
(Monday through Friday), with the flexibility to support both day
and night shift teams as needed. You will be our only EHS
Specialist on site. Key Responsibilities: Lead EHS programs through
daily floor presence and employee engagement. Develop, maintain,
and communicate EHS policies and training. Ensure compliance with
all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
Manage documentation for audits, inspections, training, permits,
and regulatory filings. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments,
and incident investigations. Coordinate environmental reporting
(air, water, waste, Tier II, Form R, etc.). Collaborate with plant
leadership and corporate teams on safety initiatives and reporting.
Balance people-focused work with accuracy and attention to
administrative detail. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a
related field – required CHMM, ASP/CSP, or CIH certification –
preferred 2–6 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or
industrial environment Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other
regulatory requirements Excellent communicator with ability to
engage all levels of the organization Detail-oriented with
experience creating and managing EHS documentation Proficient in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Bilingual in
English and Spanish (written and verbal) – preferred Work in both
