This role is pivotal in distributing food products efficiently and reliably to a wide array of customers including restaurants and healthcare facilities. This position offers the opportunity to become part of a dynamic logistics network that values safety, customer service, and timely delivery. Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport food products to customers within a local region. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Safely load and unload trucks, verifying the accuracy and condition of the delivery against shipping documents. Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs according to Federal and State regulations. Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and optimizing route efficiency. Communicate professionally with customers and the operations team, ensuring any delivery issues are timely reported and resolved. Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service. Ability to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Time management skills to meet pickup and delivery schedules. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform minor repairs. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS devices or map apps. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Must have a clean driving record. DOT Medical Card.
