Sysco, a leader in the global food service industry, is seeking a motivated and experienced Delivery Driver Supervisor to join our Transportation & Logistics team. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of food products to a diverse range of clients including restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and hospitality businesses. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our delivery drivers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing logistical processes. Oversee the scheduling, dispatching, and routing of delivery drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Monitor driver compliance with traffic regulations and ensure adherence to safety standards. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and guidance to improve driver performance. Develop and implement logistics strategies to minimize costs and enhance customer satisfaction. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues that arise during the delivery process. Ensure maintenance and proper operation of delivery vehicles. Keep records of driver attendance and deliveries and ensure all regulatory and company records are maintained accurately. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software Strong problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Certification in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous
