• Support performance of less experienced Operational Legal specialists, interpret and research legal documents for potential risk exposure
• Provide feedback and present ideas for improving operational performance within functional area
• Perform complex, operational and customer support tasks, make recommendations to improve operational performance
• Ensure identified risks, errors and complex problems are researched and documented for timely resolution
• Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced staff
• Make recommendations to improve operational performance supporting policies or procedures to reduce risk exposure
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Interact with internal customers
• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Schedule for Operations 5 days a week
• Oregon location: 8:30am-5:30pm South Dakota location: 10:30am-7:00pmRequired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Legal Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
    • Knowledge and understanding of bankruptcy, litigation, and workout issues
    • Collections or customer service experience
    • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of customers, team members, and management
    • Basic Microsoft Office Skills
    • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
    • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
    • Ability to be flexible and adaptable; in order to meet changing business needs
    • Knowledge and understanding of Hogan database
    • Ability to maintain professional etiquette under pressureJob Expectations:
