for a Software Development Engineer for an onsite role in
Beaverton, OR. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Linux Kernel Development Contractor to join our team. The
successful candidate will have a strong background in Linux kernel
development, device driver development, and Linux distribution
development.Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Linux kernel modules and device
drivers.
- Work on Linux kernel memory management, load, and boot
process.
- Contribute to Linux virtualization development.
- Utilize software development tools such as compilers and
git.
- Create and manage Debian packages.
- Work with the Yocto build system.Qualifications
- Must have at least 5+ year's experience required.
- Must have a minimum 5 years experience with Linux kernel module
development.
- Must have a minimum 4 years experience with Linus compiler
development experience.
- Must have a minimum 5 years experience with RPM or Debian
package development and management.
- Should have strong experience in Linux kernel development and
device driver development.
- Should have In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel memory
management, load, and boot process.
- Should have experience with Linux virtualization
technologies.
- Should have proficiency in software development tools such as

- A competitive pay range of $59/hr- $62/hr (depending on
experience).
- 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
