EDA Tools Software Engineer

The position offered is for an EDA Tools Software Engineer in the
Design Rule Optimization (DRO) team of the Process Design Kit (PDK)
group, within the Design Enablement (DE) organization. The primary
function of the DRO team is to further develop and deploy software
to store design rule data (DR) in a machine-readable format, used
for PDK automation to automatically generate DR-compliant
technology files and layout test structures.
The DRO team works closely in partnership with Intel's technology
development, EDA suppliers, PDK functional areas, Design Rule
Definition, and OPC teams to optimize Intel's process technology
competitiveness using traditional automation and Machine Learning
(ML) techniques from highly permuted layout test case structure
generation.Candidates must exhibit the following behavioral

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position.Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in
identifying top candidates.Minimum QualificationsCandidate must
possess a BS degree with 4+ years of experience or MS degree with
3+ years of experience or a PhD degree with 1+ years of experience
in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
or related fields.4+ years of experience in the following:
- Design rule definition or runset development experience or
Design Automation type of role involving layout EDA tools (layout
editors, tech files, Pcells, auto-routing, SKILL macros,
- Design rule familiarity on advanced process nodes.
- Programming languages such as C++, Python, Ruby, or Tcl.
- UNIX/Linux operating system.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows
employees to split their time between working on-site at their
assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work
