Job Description:

American Medical Response (AMR) seeks an experienced EMS Lead Instructor to oversee and deliver educational programs for EMS personnel. The successful candidate will be integral in shaping the competencies of EMS staff, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory bodies. This role demands a deep understanding of pre-hospital care processes and the ability to convey complex information to a diverse audience effectively. Developing and updating curriculum for EMS training programs. Conducting educational sessions for EMTs, paramedics, and other medical staff. Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making adjustments as necessary. Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations concerning EMS education. Assisting in the recruitment and training of new instructors. Managing training resources and budget. Coordinating with other healthcare providers for integrated educational programs. Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols Proficiency in instructional methodologies and adult learning principles Ability to develop and implement comprehensive training programs Excellent communication and leadership skills Capacity to evaluate educational outcomes and apply improvements Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state EMS Certification as an EMT or Paramedic Certified Instructor from a recognized EMS training program CPR and Advanced Life Support Instructor Certification
