Job Description & Requirements Interim ED Nurse Educator StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $155000.00 - $165000.00 An Oregon medical center is seeking their next Interim ED Nurse Educator! ? The Position - An Interim ED Nurse Educator is needed to provide education and support for Adult ED and Pediatric ED teams, ensuring consistent practices and high-quality patient care. - This leader will oversee a 36-bed department, including six pediatric beds, and will include developing and implementing education programs, standardizing documentation practices, supporting new nurse onboarding, and addressing generational differences in practice expectations. - The ideal candidate will have strong ED nursing experience, a proven track record in staff education, and the ability to build trust and respect quickly. - Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. - Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements - BSN is required. - Active OR RN license is required. - Prior ED Educator experience is required. - Academic hospital experience is strongly preferred. Compensation Details - Compensation Range: $155,000 to $165,000 annually. - The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. - The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
