Legacy Health, a leading non-profit healthcare organization with a widespread network across Oregon and Washington, is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team. Our facilities, renowned for innovative patient care and a compassionate approach, require technically skilled individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments. As a Surgical Technologist at Legacy Health, you will be instrumental in facilitating surgical operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of procedures under the direction of surgical personnel. Prepare operating rooms for surgery including sterilizing equipment and ensuring necessary equipment is available and in working order. Assist surgical teams in putting on sterile gowns and gloves. Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment. Hold retractors and cut sutures as directed by surgeons. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide additional assistance as needed during operations. Ensure proper care and handling of specimens. Operate sterilizers, lights, or suction machines, and assist with diagnostic equipment. Maintain accurate documentation related to surgeries. Strong understanding of surgical procedures and terminology. High proficiency in handling and maintaining surgical equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team. Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
