Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist to join our team, specializing in providing critical support to students with special needs. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement occupational therapy programs designed to help students achieve academic and personal success. You will work closely with a team of special education professionals to tailor interventions based on individual student needs, fostering an inclusive and adaptive learning environment. Assess students' skills and needs and develop occupational therapy plans accordingly. Implement individualized therapy programs that cater to students' abilities and goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate occupational therapy with educational activities. Monitor and document students' progress and adapt strategies as needed. Advocate for students' needs and accommodations within the school setting. Strong understanding of occupational therapy theories and practices in a school setting. Ability to design and implement detailed therapeutic programs. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Strong observational and analytical skills. Proficiency in using therapy equipment and technology. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist. Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). CPR and first aid certification preferred.
