Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a motivated and adaptable Traveling Dental Assistant to support our team across various locations in the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will assist in providing comprehensive dental care, maintaining a high level of professionalism, and ensuring patient comfort at each location. Our Traveling Dental Assistant will work closely with dentists and dental hygienists to prepare and maintain the treatment areas and dental instruments according to stringent sanitation standards. This role requires flexibility in travel and hours, dedication to patient care, and a strong ability to adapt to diverse clinic environments. Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place. Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records. Provide chair side assistance to dentists during procedures, including preparation and manipulation of dental materials. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist. Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, such as how to brush and floss correctly. Travel between various clinic locations as scheduled, ensuring readiness to assist at each location. Maintain inventory of dental materials and supplies, re-ordering as necessary. Proficiency in using dental software and x-ray equipment. Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent patient service skills with a patient-centric approach. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential preferred. Valid CPR certification. Radiography certification.
