Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a dedicated Traveling Dental Assistant to join our team, providing top-notch dental care across our various locations. As a Traveling Dental Assistant, you will support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials while traveling to different offices within our network. You will play a crucial role in offering a comforting presence to our patients and ensuring smooth transitions in dental procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, enjoy changing environments, and are passionate about making a difference in the healthcare field. Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures. Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures. Travel to multiple dental offices as scheduled. Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) when necessary. Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in dental assistant duties including taking x-rays, sterilization, and dental health maintenance. Adaptable to various working environments. Ability to manage schedules and maintain punctuality. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred. Completion of an accredited dental assistant training program. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
