Job Description:
Legacy Health, a recognized leader in quality healthcare, is
seeking an Environmental Services Tech to join our team in
maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout
our facilities. This role is pivotal in preventing infections and
ensuring the health and safety of both patients and staff by
adhering to rigorous cleaning and disinfection practices. As a
vital component of our environmental services department, you will
contribute to creating a safe, attractive, and comfortable
environment for everyone at our healthcare facilities. Perform
routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas,
administrative offices, and public areas. Utilize a variety of
cleaning agents, tools, and equipment to effectively disinfect and
maintain facilities. Follow established protocols for waste
handling, cleaning and sanitation to ensure compliance with
infection control standards. Interact professionally with patients,
visitors, and staff, respecting privacy and confidentiality.
Participate in training and development sessions to stay informed
of the latest industry practices and safety standards. Strong
understanding of cleaning techniques and infection control. Ability
to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina
and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
Attention to detail and pride in providing a clean environment.
