Job Description Job Description Job Title: Travel RN - Med/Surg Location: Portland,Oregon Department/Unit: Medical/Surgical Unit Salary Range: $40 to $50 per hour Shift: Night Shift Duration: 13 weeks (Contract) Job Description Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) unit in Portland,Oregon. This role is essential for providing high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic illnesses. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, documenting any changes and responding appropriately. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Information Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
