License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Vehicle for
assignment - Must commit to working every other weekend
Description: Position will float between units based on unit needs.
On-call is not required. Every other weekend is required. Block
schedules are not required. Expected patient ratios are 1:1 for
active labor and 1:3 for postpartum care. Must adhere to staffing
standards. Special requirements include BLS and NRP certifications.
Minimum of 2 years LDRP experience is preferred. Common for
travelers to float to other units based on skill sets. Travelers
may float to various units to meet facility needs. Must be flexible
with scheduling, including holiday coverage. Specific charting
experience with the Epic system is preferred. Recognition and
treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns is essential.
Interdisciplinary support provided includes multiple services such
as respiratory and social services. Patients will include neonates
and adults with low-risk perinatal diagnoses. Availability to float
within assigned unit and to nearby facilities may be required.
Refusal to float may result in contract termination. Travelers are
encouraged to request time off during the initial submission phase.
Inflexibility with scheduled shifts may lead to contract
