Behavioral Health Tech Location: Newport, OR Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $960 to $1,120 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00/Hourly. Shift: Varies, occasional weekends. Summary: The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct care and support to patients receiving behavioral health services. Under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, the BHT assists with patient monitoring, therapeutic activities, and maintaining a safe, structured environment that supports patients’ treatment and recovery. Responsibilities: Monitor patient behavior, safety, and emotional status. Assist with daily activities and therapeutic programming. Support patients during groups, recreation, and structured activities. Provides direct services to clients in Treatment and Recovery Services and Behavioral Health programs in a manner that reflects our commitment to trauma informed, evidence-based practices. Requirements Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 - Year experience Required, Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor Level I (CADC I) or National Certification Addiction Counselor I (NCAC I) required. (CADC II, NCAC II, or higher certification preferred.) Healthcare Provider Level BLS required. Experience and/or training in computer applications required.
