Locums General Surgeon needed in Portland, OR vicinity Location:
Portland suburbs Reason for coverage: Scheduled Clinic Hours Call
(Beeper) Required response time: 15 minutes Required credentials:
Board Certification, active medical license (may have time to
license in OR for this job as emergency privileges are an option),
clean malpractice and NPDB, DEA, ABLS, ACLS, BLS Patients per
shift: 1-2 outpatient, 7-8 inpatient Support Staff: 2 PA/NPs No
requirement to supervise Advance Practice Providers Estimated
Credentialing Timeframe (Days) 60-120 Emergency Privileges are
available Skills Required: General Surgery, adult, laparoscopic,
appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty Skills Preferred:
pediatric, Nissen Fundoplication, Head/neck (including thyroid),
chest wall/pleural procedures, GI endoscopy-upper, lower,
sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy Additional Pediatric procedures
preferred: umbilical defects, hernia Travel and Lodging provided
Malpractice Insurance provided
