Must-Have: General sonographer experience covering OB, small parts,
basic procedures, and some vascular. Description: This is a 60-bed
acute-care facility with a full-service ultrasound department. The
facility is fully accredited and certified as an accredited Chest
Pain Center. The department operates a 24-hour emergency service.
Typical patient ratios allow for 12-15 exams per shift. The
equipment includes GE Logiq e10 and GE Logiq e9 ultrasound systems
along with a new Mindray ultrasound unit. Electronic health records
are managed through a recognized system. The patient population
served includes all types from geriatrics to pediatrics. A strong
team environment values self-directed work and collaboration. The
department is busy with emergency, outpatient volumes, and nearby
primary care and OB clinics. The common diagnoses and treatments
encountered in this position include a wide variety. The work
environment is welcoming and supportive, ideal for those looking
for a positive atmosphere. Identification of strengths and areas
for improvement is encouraged in team interactions. The dress code
allows for normal colors and patterns, with specific guidelines on
unacceptable attire. Experience in general sonography with OB and
vascular is preferred. There are opportunities to pick up extra
shifts if desired. Call rotation is required, typically 1 in 5
