experience in Respiratory Therapy and pulmonary medicine in an
acute-care setting is required. License: Current Respiratory Care
Practitioner license in Oregon is required. Certifications: Basic
Life Support Provider (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS),
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must-Have: Graduated from an
approved school of Respiratory Therapy with an Associate of Science
Degree. National Board of Respiratory Care credentialing is
required. EPIC experience is a plus. Job Description: - Provide
comprehensive respiratory care to patients in a 21-bed acute-care
facility and emergency room. - Work collaboratively with medical
staff to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients'
respiratory care needs. - Utilize advanced respiratory care
techniques and technology to assist in the diagnosis, treatment,
and management of respiratory disorders. - Maintain accurate and
timely documentation of care provided. - Participate in the
development and implementation of patient care protocols. - Ensure
compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards related to
respiratory therapy. - Stay informed and updated on the latest best
practices in respiratory care through continuous education and
professional development.
