Occupational Therapist - School Setting Join our team as a dedicated Occupational Therapist , where you will provide therapy services to students in a school setting. In this role, you will help children develop skills needed for academic success, independence, and participation in daily school activities. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy services in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation. Create individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' specific needs and goals related to academic functioning. Provide direct therapy services to improve motor skills, coordination, postural stability, and classroom tool use. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to adapt learning environments and recommend assistive devices or strategies for success. Document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and provide training for school staff on interventions and accommodations. Work Environment: The role is based in schools where occupational therapists work with children from preschool through high school age. This position requires creativity, patience, and adaptability when working with children of varying abilities and needs.
