Job Description:
Providence ElderPlace is seeking an Associate Medical Director
Physician or APP to serve as the Administrative Lead in Portland,
Oregon. This new role is perfect for a physician or APP with a
strong background in clinical or administrative medicine,
especially with experience in geriatric care. The individual in
this position will play a crucial role in shaping and developing
the role. The responsibilities are evenly split, with 0.5 FTE
dedicated to clinical duties and 0.5 FTE allocated to
administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include recruiting
providers, ensuring operational efficiency, onboarding new staff
and coordinating committees. Additionally, the role involves
supervising the physician group and planning compliance staffing in
collaboration with the Medical Director. Providence ElderPlace is a
distinctive PACE program in Oregon, providing a wide range of
comprehensive care services for older adults, including medical
care, housing and socialization support. The program focuses on
collaboration among a full healthcare team to ensure high standards
