Job Title: Transplant Nurse Location: Portland, Oregon Start Date: Mid-July 2025 Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts - 7:00 AM 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Qualification: Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program


License: Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state


Certification:

CCTN (Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse) Required


BLS Required




Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Transplant Nurse



Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to transplant patients across pre-operative, operative, and post-operative phases


Monitor and manage immunosuppressive therapy and potential complications


Collaborate with transplant surgeons, coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes


Educate patients and families on transplant procedures, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications


Maintain detailed patient records and comply with transplant program protocols and regulatory standards


Respond to clinical emergencies and perform critical interventions when needed


Adhere to infection control practices and hospital policies to ensure patient safety
