Job Description:

Provides patient assessment, care planning, and delivery of nursing care for diverse patient populations, including pediatric to geriatric patients.
Develops, reviews, and updates comprehensive nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Implements and documents patient care, prioritizing based on acuity and needs.
Evaluates patient responses, progress towards goals, and revises care plans accordingly.
Educates patients and families, tailoring teaching to their needs, and acts as a role model and preceptor for new staff and students.
Communicates effectively, maintains confidentiality, and reports patient conditions accurately.
Supervises LVN/LPNs, assistants, and clerical staff; may serve as charge nurse.
Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and crisis intervention training; experience preferred but new graduates accepted.
Work is per diem as needed, with responsibilities including patient care and team collaboration.
