Job Description:
This role involves assisting surgeons in perioperative care
across all ages, performing surgical tasks such as tissue
dissection, wound closure, and device operation. Responsibilities
include patient positioning, assisting with anesthesia, handling
surgical instruments, and maintaining sterile procedures. The
Assistant may perform specific procedures like inserting IVs,
placing drains, and aiding in complex surgeries under supervision.
They review patient data, select equipment, and ensure proper
documentation. Certification as a Certified Surgical Assistant
(CSA) and completion of approved training are required. Skills
include strong coordination, communication, knowledge of surgical
techniques, and infection control. Must be physically capable of
lifting and working in a demanding environment. The position
