Job Description:
The CT Technologist performs routine and advanced imaging
procedures, supporting patient flow and assisting colleagues as
needed. They demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts and
campuses, troubleshooting equipment, participating in QA, and
resolving image processing issues. Adherence to safety, technical
standards, and ongoing education is essential, along with
maintaining imaging competencies. They promote a positive work
environment, ensure patient confidentiality, and adapt care to meet
diverse patient needs. Responsibilities include completing exams,
managing PACS workflows, and escalating equipment issues
appropriately. The role requires graduation from an accredited
Radiology Technology program, ARRT radiography certification, state
licensure, BLS certification, and preferred CT experience.
