Overview:Busy Beaverton/Murrayhill office seeks Registered Dental Hygienist for 3-4 days per week. Full-time preferred, but open to part-time. The candidate must be friendly, energetic and a team player. A high commitment to excellent patient care and education is a must. Dentrix software experience is helpful. If you'd like to be a part of this outstanding team, apply today!ResponsibilitiesProvide superior patient care and service; exhibit outstanding customer service and hospitality as well as chair side mannerTake radiographs of patients using dental radiographic equipmentStay on schedule as much as possible to create no patient wait time; help manage patient flow; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift timesEducate patient on oral hygiene, health, disease as well as procedures and services; establish/communicate continued care.Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealantsVerify patient health history and document appropriately in patient chartMaintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliancePerform the following duties as applicable by practice and/or state laws:Screen for Oral CancerTake and record patients' blood pressure accuratelyTake alginate impressions and fabricate whitening traysMaintain accurate and legible notes in patient chartAssist with other office duties as requested or neededQualificationsValid Dental Hygienist License Minimum of an Associate's degree in Dental HygieneCertification for other duties as required by state practice actMaintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by lawExcellent verbal and written communication skillsVersed in Dentrix is preferredStrong multi-tasking and organizational skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentSalary range: $52-$60/hour DOEINDHRDH01
