Experience!We're seeking a passionate leader with demonstrated
experience and a deep understanding of youth development and
communities currently underrepresented or underserved within our
organization. Your role will be pivotal in amplifying their voices
and ensuring their needs are met, creating a truly inclusive and
equitable Girl Scout experience for all.In this role, you'll join
our executive leadership team and help shape the future of Girl
Scouts in our community. You'll have the exciting opportunity to
drive innovative programs that engage and inspire Girl Scouts,
focusing on outdoor adventure, STEM, entrepreneurship, and life
skills. You'll lead high-impact initiatives that grow membership,
ensure exceptional experiences, and champion diversity, equity, and
inclusion in everything we do.What You'll Do
Partner with the CEO and executive leaders to design and execute
strategic initiatives that align with our mission and drive
engagement.
Lead efforts to enhance youth retention and develop/support
programs that attract new Girl Scouts.
Champion the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by collaborating with
volunteers and staff to remove barriers and maximize opportunities
for all youth Girl Scouts.
Foster a culture of philanthropy, supporting fundraising efforts
and building strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
Inspire and develop a high-performing team, supporting staff growth
and recognizing their achievements.
Ensure compliance and financial stewardship, driving product sales
activities, program revenue, and the responsible use of resources

Full-time, business hours, with some flexibility. This role
requires active engagement in the community, including attending
evening and weekend events and meetings.
Partner with the CEO and executive leaders to develop high-level
initiatives that enhance youth engagement and align with strategic
objectives.
Oversee the execution of strategic goals, working closely with
cross-functional teams to drive results and monitor KPIs.
Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate
results, variances, and performance trends.Membership growth &
retention
Lead youth retention efforts and work collaboratively to ensure
retention goals are met every year.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that
support a high-quality youth Girl Scout experience.
Support membership recruitment initiatives with the Community
Engagement team.Mission delivery & an exceptional Girl Scout
experience
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and
practices that support high-quality youth experiences that focus on
the Girl Scouts four program pillars: outdoor adventure, life
skills, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), and
Entrepreneurship.
Maximize opportunities for Girl Scouts by leading teams that
utilize resident and day camps, council-hosted events, travel
programs, highest awards, and volunteer-led program
committees.
Collaborate with the Volunteer Experience team to support
volunteers in consistently and effectively delivering the Girl
Scouts Leadership Experience.
Eliminate participation barriers by leveraging partnerships to
deliver Girl Scouts in underserved communities through Community
Pathways Programs.Philanthropy
Work deliberately to steward a culture of philanthropy throughout
the organization.
Collaborate with the Fund Development team on philanthropic
efforts, including grants, partnerships, and fundraising
events.Diversity, equity, inclusion, and racial justice
Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and racial
justice (DEIRJ) by prioritizing DEIRJ in all goals and
initiatives.
Hold staff and volunteers accountable for supporting DEIRJ efforts
and behaving in accordance with our values and the Girl Scouts
Promise and Law.Advocacy and consistent communication
Represent the council publicly, building and nurturing
relationships with members, key volunteers, Service Units, and
partner organizations to foster engagement and a culture of
service.
Collaborate with other departments and the Communications team to
ensure clear, high-quality communication that consistently values
and reinforces the impact of volunteersEmployee experience
Partner with leaders to foster a culture that promotes high
achievement, satisfaction, and strong inter-departmental
relationships.
Support employee growth through coaching, mentoring, and training
while ensuring accountability and regularly recognizing
accomplishments.Financial stewardship and compliance
Oversee budget development and management for areas of
responsibility, ensuring revenue targets are achieved.
Lead efforts to ensure that best practices are utilized and that
resources are leveraged and deployed in the most effective way to
accomplish the council's goals.
Ensure that all council operations are carried out in compliance
with local, state, and federal regulations and laws in addition to
Girl Scouts of the USA and GSOSW policies.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that
reduce risks to the council and reduce conflict.
