Job Description:
Nike Consumer Direct Marketing exists to serve the athlete
faster and more personally through an offense designed to connect
the Nike Brand, product and experiences in new and powerful ways. A
key part of the Consumer Direct Marketing offense is the Global
Social Media team responsible for shaping the strategic vision and
implementation across all social media platforms where Nike is
engaged. Who we are looking for We're looking for a Director of
Nike Flagship Social Media Strategy. This role focuses on shaping
the vision and strategy of Nike's Flagship [@Nike] social channels
and steering the multi-platform execution of Nike's brand voice at
a daily and seasonal cadence. This position will play a critical
role in shaping how we build healthy social channels, program for
the athlete and use social platforms to support strategic business
priorities! A successful candidate has a comprehensive grasp of
social platforms, experience delivering innovative brand campaigns
and is adept at working across multiple partners to drive a unified
approach. Equally important, we are looking for someone with
experience and passion to lead a team. The ideal candidate is
capable of defining clear strategic ideas and comfortable in
educating teams across a spectrum of experience. What you will work
on If this is you, you will be a key leader on the Global Social
Media team working with partners in Brand Strategy, Marketing and
Creative to write briefs and implement go-to-market plans. A
typical day/week involves the ability to engage in multiple
workstreams, that are at different levels of maturity in a
marketing timeline. Each week will include managing a team of
channel managers and optimizing your time between up-stream
planning and big vision thinking with cross-functional teammates
while seamlessy ensuring the day-to-day implementation of social
content is a well-oiled machine that maintains brand standards to
the highest degree. Who you will work with Reporting to the Sr.
Director of Social Platforms and Strategy you will work with
internal and external partners, primarily the Brand Defining
Purpose & Athlete team to create and deploy marketing plans that
elevate Nike's brand affinity while supporting commerce and growth
