WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We re looking for a Senior Business Readiness Manager!
You will provide end-to-end business subject matter expertise (SME)
while supporting large scale, sophisticated programs to develop,
implement and deploy our client Supply Chain s future state
strategic capabilities. We are an agile team, and we look to you to
bring vision and structure yet retain the ability to remain
flexible and pivot quickly. You will use your excellent leadership
and communication skills and ability to influence and develop
consensus across multiple cross-functional partners to build and
implement a collaborative, creative, and high-performing business
transition strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you ll think strategically and provide input in the
requirements and design process and assess the impact of these
processes/capabilities on the various functions, like Marketplace
Operations, Demand and Supply Management, Logistics, Sales, Retail,
Tech and Finance.
You will provide leadership to the cross-functional SME network and
represent the business appropriately at capability design
workshops; influence process/capability designs as vital to ensure
business requirements and needs are accounted for; partner with
program leadership to influence work tracks within the program
roadmap and ensure all cross-functional impacts and deliverables
are considered; demonstrate business insight to ensure right
decisions are made for the business and facilitate alignment across
cross-functional and technical partners to develop and execute
realistic business transition plans to minimize risk and business
disruption.
In addition, you will collaborate with distribution center programs
teams to develop volume load-in and ramp up plans and implement
smooth and coordinated movement of inventories; avoid marketplace
impact (digital and brick & mortar) by synchronizing the transition
with business seasonality; ensure engagement, consensus and
alignment of cross-functional business partners and SMEs on
end-to-end execution plan; partner with Transition Management
leaders to align on strategies to ensure adoption of new
capabilities across the business; highlight and raise
cross-functional business risks and issues to program leadership;
facilitate risk mitigation and scenario planning to ensure
contingency plans are aligned across the business functions and
support program leadership with business targeted communication
strategies to ensure all cross-functional teams and business
partners are advised of transition plans, progress and
readiness.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Business Execution Director and partner with
program leadership, cross-functional and technical partners,
distribution center program teams and transition management
leaders.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
7+ years of progressive experience in customer/retail/marketplace
operations, supply chain operations/consulting/strategy, or related
field
2 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree
Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain Operations and Technology
Extensive experience in Program/Project Management, or Process
Improvement
Experience in aligning cross-cultural, cross-functional, and
virtual teams
Strong working knowledge of organizational change management and
business transition concepts, models and standard methodologies
Experience in aligning cross-cultural, cross-functional, and
virtual teams
Leadership/influencing skills at all levels, indirect (at times
direct) team management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven presenter and group facilitator. Outstanding listening
skills
Strong relationship-building skills; ability to build trust among
those with diverse personal styles
Preferred:
Expertise in order management (order capture, maintenance,
delivery, order status, etc.), Supply & Inventory Planning
(inventory management, our client buying process) and knowledge of
Demand & Supply Management and Global Supply management
organizations
Experience developing and leading change across business units in
large scale process, organizational and system implementation
Experience with Digital Operations and Omni-channel business
development
Understanding of Marketplace operational strategy, policies, and
procedures
Understanding and implementation of Agile and/or Lean processes
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizational
structures
Comfortable with principles and issues related to distribution
center operations, warehouse management and transportation systems,
development and design

Duties:
Build relationships with key customers and external partners to
drive account development aligned with the commercial strategy.
Drive the process for incorporating the operations and supply chain
areas (order management, deliveries, value-added services, etc.)
into the overall customer management process, from customer
strategic planning through in-season execution. Lead our client
teams and customers to achieve mutually-agreed operations plans.
Act as the voice of the customer to influence our client capability
development and service offerings. Manage and coordinate the
implementation of operational capabilities and services with key
customers. Monitor and manage performance against service level
agreements from both a our client and customer point of view.
